Journalist Nassira El Moaddem, known for her work with Arrêt sur images, is facing a wave of hateful attacks from the far-right online community.
As a result of these threats, the organizers of the upcoming Imprimé festival – where she is scheduled to participate in a panel discussion this Saturday – have requested enhanced security measures from local authorities.
The festival is set to take place in Cenon, a suburb located near Bordeaux.
This situation has sparked concerns about the safety and security of journalists and public figures who are targeted by online hate campaigns.
