Jungkook Celebrates 27th Birthday While Reflecting on Childhood Memories

On September 1, 2024, Jungkook, the youngest member of the global music sensation BTS, celebrated his 27th birthday. Since making his debut with BTS in 2013, Jungkook has made significant strides in his career, performing with the group, releasing his solo music, and captivating audiences around the world.

As a member of BTS, Jungkook has always emphasized the importance of family in his life. During the 2019 BTS FESTA, he and his fellow members shared memorable childhood memories, including heartwarming stories involving their parents.

In a particularly nostalgic moment, Jungkook recalled an experience from his childhood regarding Christmas. He shared that he was excitedly waiting for Santa Claus’s arrival, reminiscing how he lay in bed with his eyes closed while his father entered the room wearing a Santa mask.

Jungkook described how he was too nervous to open his eyes when his father placed a gift on Suga‘s bedside table, leading to Suga’s realization that Santa Claus was not real. Jungkook specifically noted, “I only remember that Santa mask,” reflecting the significance of that moment in his childhood.

Currently, Jungkook is serving in the South Korean military. Additionally, he is set to release a documentary titled ‘Seven‘ in theaters worldwide on September 18, which chronicles his eight-month journey to his solo debut, directed by Junsoo Park. He is also featured in the travel reality series ‘Are You Sure‘.
