Kaduna Lawmaker Ekene Adams Dies at 39
Ekene Abubakar Adams, a member of the house of representatives, has passed away at the age of 39. Representing Chikun/Kajuru federal constituency of Kaduna under the LP, Adams, who was also the chairman of the house committee on sports, was well-liked and known for his sports contributions.
Before his foray into politics, Adams served as the general manager of Kada City Football Club and Remo Stars at different intervals. His dedication to grassroots sports in Nigeria was noted and appreciated by many.
In a statement mourning his demise, Akin Rotimi, the house spokesperson, described Adams as a dedicated public servant, passionate sports administrator, and generous philanthropist, highlighting his positive impact in the sporting world.
Adams’ unfortunate passing adds to the recent losses in the house of representatives, following the deaths of Olaide Adewale Akinremi of Ibadan north federal constituency and another member representing Babura/Garki federal constituency, Dogonyaro.
