The sci-fi extravaganza ‘Kalki 2898 AD‘ starring Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, and Disha Patani alongside cameos from Vijay Deverakonda and Dulquer Salmaan has stormed the global box office, accumulating a staggering ₹415 crore in just three days.

Vyjayanthi Movies, the production banner behind the mammoth project, unveiled the jaw-dropping global box office collections figure on Sunday through an Instagram post featuring a riveting poster of Prabhas showcasing ‘₹415 crore GBOC (gross box office collection) three days worldwide,’ hailing the unstoppable force of the film.

The film previously raked in a monumental ₹191.5 crore on its opening day worldwide, setting the stage for a phenomenal run at the box office. Post the second day, ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ continued its upward trajectory, solidifying its position with a total haul surpassing ₹400 crore.

Formerly known as Project K, ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ stands as one of Indian cinema’s most elaborate undertakings with a reported budget of ₹600 crore. Directed by Nag Ashwin, the post-apocalyptic marvel draws inspiration from Hindu scriptures and is set in the futuristic landscape of 2898 AD.

The film, which was released in six languages – Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, Hindi, and English, has garnered widespread acclaim from industry titans like Rajinikanth, who praised the production, direction, and stellar ensemble cast for propelling Indian cinema to new heights.
