Kalki 2898 AD, the highly anticipated dystopic action film starring Prabhas and Deepika Padukone, has concluded its successful theatrical run. As of August 22, the film is now available for streaming on major OTT platforms, Netflix and Amazon Prime Video.

The movie can be watched in several regional languages. The Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam versions are available on Amazon Prime Video, while the specific offerings on Netflix have yet to be detailed.

This dual-platform release strategy aims to cater to a larger and more diverse audience by providing viewers with options in their preferred languages. This approach follows a similar tactic used for Prabhas’ previous release, Salaar: Part 1—Ceasefire.

Salaar: Part 1—Ceasefire was released on Netflix earlier this year and is also available in multiple languages, including Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam, and English. The Hindi version of this film, however, was released on Disney+ Hotstar a month later.

According to box office reports, Kalki 2898 AD has garnered a remarkable total of ₹1,041.65 crore from its theatrical run, with ₹766.65 crore collected in India and ₹275 crore from overseas markets. Produced with a budget of around ₹600 crore, it has emerged as the highest-grossing Indian movie of 2024.

Following Kalki 2898 AD, the next movie on the top-grossing list is Stree 2, which was released on August 15, 2024, and has already surpassed ₹360 crore in collections.
