Carolina Panthers Vs Kansas City Chiefs 2024

CHARLOTTE — As the Carolina Panthers prepare to face off against the Kansas City Chiefs, both teams have announced their lists of inactive players for the upcoming Sunday game at the Bank of America Stadium.

The Panthers are set to bring back veteran wide receiver, whose absence due to a hamstring injury since Week 3 has been notable. However, the team will be without their rookie wide receiver, who has been ruled inactive after sustaining a quadriceps injury during practice on Thursday.

Other Panthers players who will not suit up include some notable names such as running back Miles Sanders, who is dealing with an ankle injury, as well as outside linebackers Amare Barno and DJ Johnson, and wide receiver Jalen Coker, who have various injury issues.

On the Chiefs’ side, they will proceed without offensive linemen Ethan Driskell and C.J. Hanson, running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire, and defensive tackle Marlon Tuipulotu among others. Kansas City notably had all players from its injury reports participate fully in practice this week, indicating the listed inactives are primarily healthy scratches. Offensive rookie tackle Kingsley Suamataia has also returned to the lineup after missing the previous game.

For depth, the Panthers have elevated wide receiver Dan Chisena and linebacker Kenny Dyson from the practice squad. Kansas City has likewise promoted linebacker Cole Christiansen to bolster their special teams.

These lineup adjustments are likely to play a significant role in Sunday’s matchup, as both teams navigate through a season fraught with injuries.
