Kartik Aaryan Starrer ‘Chandu Champion’ Trailer Launched in Hometown Gwalior

Kartik Aaryan, the popular Bollywood actor, along with director Kabir Khan and producer Sajid Nadiadwala, launched the trailer of their much-anticipated movie ‘Chandu Champion’ in the actor’s hometown, Gwalior.

The film, based on the inspiring life of India’s first Paralympic gold medalist Murlikant Petkar, showcases Aaryan in the challenging role of ‘Chandu Champion’, a man with indomitable spirit who defies all odds.

In an interaction with the press, Aaryan expressed his initial disbelief at the incredible twists and turns in the storyline narrated by Kabir Khan. The actor was awestruck by the historical moments and challenges faced by the protagonist, questioning if it was a true story or a work of fiction.

The ‘Chandu Champion’ trailer portrays the protagonist’s journey through various phases, including his time as an Indian Army soldier, wrestler, boxer, war veteran, and swimmer, culminating in a dramatic declaration of filing a case against the President of India.

Aaryan, who underwent rigorous physical training for the role, referred to ‘Chandu Champion’ as his proudest film to date. The actor dedicated himself entirely to the project for one and a half years, transforming into a disciplined machine to embody the character.

Director Kabir Khan commended Aaryan’s commitment to building his physique naturally for the role, emphasizing the actor’s disciplined regimen and dietary restrictions during the filming of other projects like ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’.

‘Chandu Champion’ marks a significant collaboration between Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and Kabir Khan Films, set to hit the theaters on June 14, promising audiences a captivating and motivational story of an unsung hero.
