Having represented Footscray with distinction for nine seasons, Templeton showcased his exceptional scoring prowess and leadership skills. As the first forward to win a Brownlow Medal, his contributions to the Bulldogs‘ rich history are unparalleled.
During his memorable 1978 performance against St Kilda, where he kicked 15 goals, Templeton left an indelible mark on the game, proving his ability to dominate on the field.
