The business world is mourning the loss of Manjushree Khaitan, the esteemed chairperson of Kesoram Industries and the talented daughter of the renowned BK Birla. Khaitan, 69, passed away in Kolkata, leaving behind a legacy of dedication and excellence.

Having taken over the reins of Kesoram Industries following her father’s demise in 2019, Khaitan played a pivotal role in steering the company through various challenges and restructuring efforts. Her leadership was instrumental in shaping the future of the conglomerate.

Khaitan’s influence extended beyond the corporate realm, as she dedicated herself to philanthropic endeavors and educational initiatives. As a trustee of the Ashok Hall Group of Schools, comprising institutions like Ashok Hall, GD Birla Centre for Education, Mahadevi Birla Shishu Vihar, and Little Step School, she championed the cause of education for girls from all backgrounds.
