Customers across the nation who purchase any dozen doughnuts at regular price will be treated to an extra dozen for free on July 12, as announced by Krispy Kreme on Tuesday. This offer extends to in-shop and drive-thru purchases with a limit of two free dozens, and to online orders for pickup or delivery with a limit of one free dozen.

Excited customers can simply use the code ‘BDAY’ when placing their online orders to enjoy this special birthday treat, shared Dave Skena, the Global Chief Brand Officer for Krispy Kreme, in a recent news release.

Krispy Kreme’s rich history dates back to 1937 when Vernon Rudolph, the company’s founder, introduced his irresistible doughnuts to grocery stores. The beloved Original Glazed doughnuts quickly gained popularity, prompting Rudolph to establish a direct-to-customer sales approach by selling them on the sidewalk through a hole in the wall.

In addition to the birthday promotion, Krispy Kreme is further enticing customers throughout July with exclusive offers for members of its loyalty program. Members can relish in a complimentary doughnut every Tuesday and quench their thirst with a free iced coffee every Friday when making any purchase.
