KwaZulu-Natal Premier Announces Cabinet for Government of National Unity

The new Premier of KwaZulu-Natal, Thami Ntuli, has unveiled the provincial cabinet that will steer the government of provincial unity in the region.

The newly constituted executive council in KwaZulu-Natal comprises a mix of leaders from various political parties including the Inkatha Freedom Party (IFP), African National Congress (ANC), Democratic Alliance (DA), and the National Freedom Party (NFP). This arrangement comes as a result of the hung result in the recent general election.

Ntuli, in his announcement, revealed the cabinet appointments as follows:

1. Ntuli moved the community and safety department to his office.

This move marks a significant step in promoting cross-party collaboration and cooperation in the governance of KwaZulu-Natal, fostering a spirit of unity and inclusivity.
