Kyle Rittenhouse Changes His Mind on Trump Ahead of Election
Kyle Rittenhouse, the young conservative known for his controversial past, has made headlines again by changing his stance on supporting Donald Trump in the upcoming election.
Just hours after stating he wouldn’t vote for Trump because he felt the former president wasn’t doing enough for gun rights, Rittenhouse backtracked, calling his earlier comments ‘ill-informed and unproductive.’
In a recent post on X, formerly Twitter, Rittenhouse expressed his full support for Trump, encouraging every gun owner to rally behind him as he aims for another term in the White House.
Initially, Rittenhouse had mentioned he would rather write in Ron Paul instead of voting for Trump, citing concerns over Trump’s position on the Second Amendment, which guarantees the right to bear arms.
Rittenhouse’s change of heart came after he engaged in several discussions with members of Trump’s team, which he described as productive. This led him to believe that Trump would be a strong ally in protecting gun owners’ rights.
The young activist has certainly made his mark since the 2020 shooting incident in Kenosha, Wisconsin, where he was acquitted of all charges after claiming he acted in self-defense during unrest following the police shooting of Jacob Blake.
People are talking—supporters of Trump expressed frustration on social media, while political opponents seized the moment to portray Rittenhouse’s indecision as a sign of trouble for Trump’s campaign.
