Leah Remini and Angelo Pagán have officially announced their divorce after 21 years of marriage. The couple disclosed their split in a joint statement released on August 29, 2024.

The statement expressed, «After 28 years together and 21 years of marriage, we have decided to file for divorce.» They noted that this decision was made after considerable reflection and care.

In their message, they acknowledged the challenges associated with divorce but conveyed a positive outlook, stating, «We are approaching this with a positive outlook because we know it’s what’s best for us.» They continue to share a bond, celebrating holidays and spending time together as a family.

The couple shared insights on their evolving relationship, mentioning, «To put it simply, we both changed, as people do.» They emphasized that their decision to separate reflects their individual growth and asserts that their bond remains strong, albeit in a different capacity.

Leah Remini, known for her role in «The King of Queens,» and Pagán, who worked at El Floridita in Los Angeles where they first met, were married in July 2003. They welcomed their daughter, Sofia Bella Pagan, in 2004 and Pagán also has three sons from a previous relationship.
