The Legend of Zelda Great Deku Tree: A LEGO Homage

The LEGO Group has revealed the stunning LEGO The Legend of Zelda Great Deku Tree 2-in-1 Set, paying homage to Nintendo‘s iconic Legend of Zelda series. This intricate 2,500-piece set can be built as the Great Deku Tree from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time or Breath of the Wild, capturing the essence of adventure and nostalgia.

Fans can relive moments from the beloved games through the detailed construction of the Great Deku Tree set, also featuring iconic sceneries like the Master Sword pedestal and Link’s House, allowing for customization.

The set offers interactive features in both versions: in the Breath of the Wild rendition, the Great Deku Tree’s face can be animated, while in the Ocarina of Time version, a mechanism reveals a Skulltula descending into its depths.

In the Breath of the Wild build, vibrant pink blooms adorn the Great Deku Tree, with an expressive Master Sword pedestal. The Ocarina of Time version boasts a lush green Great Deku Tree with Link’s House included, adding an extra layer of nostalgia.

The set includes four LEGO mini figures representing iconic characters such as Princess Zelda, Link, Young Link, and Hestu the Korok, along with buildable creatures like Deku Babas, Navi, and Skulltula.

Eiji Aonuma, the producer of The Legend of Zelda series at Nintendo, expressed excitement for the LEGO collaboration, praising the detailed representation of the Great Deku Tree. LEGO designer Wes Talbott also shared his enthusiasm, highlighting the set’s intricate design and fan-appeal.
