LPGA Teaches Golf to 1,500 Youth with Disabilities in Miami
On July 26, the LPGA celebrated National Disability Independence Day by making golf accessible to everyone. In a remarkable initiative, the LPGA*USGA Girls Golf program hosted over 1,500 young individuals with disabilities.
This event took place through adaptive clinics that collaborated with the Miami-Dade public schools’ program. It aimed to introduce youth to the sport of golf while ensuring they had the necessary support and tools to enjoy the game.
The clinics provided an opportunity for these youth to learn about golf in a fun and friendly environment, showcasing the LPGA’s commitment to inclusivity in sports.
