After Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) faced a 10-wicket loss to Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in a recent IPL match, a video surfaced showing LSG owner Sanjiv Goenka engaged in a heated discussion with skipper KL Rahul on the field.

Following the defeat, LSG took to their social media to express their disappointment, thanking fans for their continued support despite the setback.

Batting first, LSG set a target of 166 runs, but SRH’s openers Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma quickly chased it down in 9.4 overs.

The video of the conversation between Sanjiv Goenka and KL Rahul garnered attention online, with spectators criticizing the owner’s behavior towards the captain.

The incident has sparked speculation about Rahul’s future with LSG, with reports suggesting that he might be relieved of captaincy for the remaining matches and future IPL seasons.

As per sources, a decision is yet to be made, but if Rahul steps down, Vice-captain Nicholas Pooran is expected to lead the team in the upcoming games.

LSG currently holds the sixth spot in the IPL, with 12 points from 12 matches and a net run rate of -0.769.
