The Maharashtra government, led by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, has announced the launch of the ‘Ladla Bhai Yojana’ scheme aimed at supporting the youth in the state. This move comes just before the upcoming Maharashtra Assembly Elections, signaling the government’s commitment to addressing unemployment among the youth.

Under the ‘Ladla Bhai Yojana’, students who have passed their 12th standard exams will receive a monthly stipend of 6,000 rupees. Additionally, those pursuing diploma courses will be eligible for 8,000 rupees per month, while graduates will receive 10,000 rupees per month.

CM Shinde emphasized that the primary objective of the scheme is to prepare skilled labor by providing apprenticeship opportunities in factories to the youth. He stated that the government will fund their training and later provide them with job placements based on their experience.

Highlighting the inclusive nature of the scheme, CM Shinde stressed that there is no distinction between male and female beneficiaries. This initiative, as per the CM, marks a significant step towards addressing unemployment challenges in the state.
