Maharashtra HSC Result 2024 Declared by MSBSHSE, Check Pass Percentage and Important Dates

The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has officially released the results for the Class 12th exams. A press conference held today announced the Maharashtra Board HSC 12th Result for 2024. Students who appeared for the Maharashtra HSC exams can now check their results on the board’s official website.

This year, a total pass percentage of 93.37% was recorded. Girls outperformed boys with a pass percentage of 95.44% while boys achieved a pass percentage of 91.60%. More than 14.3 lakh students had registered for the Maharashtra HSC Exam 2024, out of which over 13.3 lakh students appeared for the exams, with around 13.3 lakh students passing.

In the results, the Konkan division emerged with the highest pass percentage at 97.91%. However, Mumbai had the lowest pass percentage of 91.95% among all the divisions in Maharashtra. Along with the results, MSBSHSE has also announced the dates for marks verification and supplementary exams.

Students who wish to apply for marks verification can do so from May 22nd to June 5th, 2024. The application window for the supplementary exams will be open from May 27th, with the exams scheduled to take place in July-August 2024. The pass percentage in the Science stream was 97.82%, Arts stream was 85.88%, Commerce stream was 92.18%, and the Vocational stream was 87.75%.

The board released the HSC results on May 21st, and students can download their scorecards from 1 pm onwards. Registration for supplementary exams will commence on May 27th. The supplementary exams will be held between June and July. Students can request re-evaluation between May 22nd and June 5th. Application for photocopies of answer booklets will be accepted from May 26th to June 14th.

To pass the Maharashtra HSC exams in 2024, a student needs to score a minimum of 33% in each subject and overall. The previous year saw the Konkan district achieving the highest pass rate in the examinations. The examinations were conducted at 3,320 centers, and the results were declared today.
