Manchester United have finalized the acquisition of Bologna forward Joshua Zirkzee in a significant transfer deal worth over £35m. The agreement includes favorable payment terms that exceed Zirkzee’s release clause, ensuring a more structured payment plan over three years.

Zirkzee, who showcased impressive form with 12 goals and 7 assists during Bologna’s Champions League qualification season, has agreed on personal terms with United. The 23-year-old prodigy, having been part of the Netherlands squad at Euro 2024, is set to undergo medical evaluations this week before signing a five-year contract with a potential extension available.

The latest signing comes in tandem with a notable overhaul in Manchester United’s coaching staff, with renowned figures like Ruud van Nistelrooy and Rene Hake signing up for two-year contracts under the guidance of manager Erik ten Hag.
