Mark Kelly Speech Trump Nato

Senator Mark Kelly of Arizona delivered a warning about the implications for America’s global standing if former President Donald Trump is re-elected. During his address, Kelly expressed concerns regarding Trump’s past statements and actions, especially relating to international relations.

Kelly specifically criticized Trump for his reluctance to hold Russia accountable for its invasion of Ukraine. He emphasized the risks associated with Trump’s perceived indifference towards such crucial matters.

In contrast to Trump, Kelly highlighted Vice President Kamala Harris‘s commitment to supporting NATO, the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. He stated, «Let’s prove that America is still the leader the world needs today by electing the leader we need right now Kamala Harris.»

The senator noted that Trump often skipped intelligence briefings while in office and controversially referred to servicemen as “suckers and losers.” He asserted that Trump’s leadership would jeopardize the credibility of American alliances.

Kelly concluded by suggesting that if Americans were to support Trump’s return to the presidency, it would ultimately lead to unfavorable outcomes, stating, “the only suckers will be us.”
