Renowned financial expert Martin Lewis has provided insightful advice for individuals seeking to enhance their cashback opportunities through major credit card companies.

One individual had reached out to Lewis, expressing their preference for supermarket credit cards like Tesco, Sainsbury’s, or ASDA, citing the benefits of loyalty points that can be redeemed for discounts on groceries.

Highlighting the potential profitability of Tesco’s Clubcard scheme when converting points into vouchers, Lewis acknowledged the allure of supermarket loyalty points.

However, Lewis pointed out that there are alternative ways to significantly boost cashback earnings through major credit card providers.

Speaking on his BBC Sounds podcast, Lewis mentioned the 1% cashback offer from Chase, capped at £15 per month, and highlighted the impressive 5% cashback for the initial three months with the American Express Platinum Cashback Card.

Additionally, Lewis drew attention to the HyperJar prepaid Mastercard which offers a remarkable 2% cashback on spending via Google Pay or Apple Pay until October 31, with a generous cashback cap of £200 per month.

As viewers eagerly awaited the return of Lewis’ ITV show, ‘The Martin Lewis Money Show,’ he took to Twitter to announce his delight in confirming the participation of all seven main parties in the upcoming MoneySavingExpert leaders debate, scheduled just before the General Election on July 4.

Fans and followers eagerly anticipated the debate, with many hoping for crucial consumer finance questions to be posed to the parties regarding policy and consumer issues.

A Twitter user expressed concerns over electricity standing charges in the North of England, while others urged for questions addressing support for individuals excluded from previous assistance schemes.

The insightful questions curated by Lewis and his team were met with anticipation, with followers expressing confidence in the integrity and depth of the upcoming leaders debate moderated by the knowledgeable financial expert.
