Marvel Teams Up with Xbox for Exclusive Deadpool-Themed Controller for Upcoming Movie Release

Marvel Entertainment and Xbox have joined forces to introduce a new, limited-edition wireless controller inspired by the iconic character Deadpool ahead of the highly-anticipated film release, Deadpool and Wolverine.

Designed to reflect the irreverent and cheeky nature of the superhero, the unique controller, dubbed Cheeky Controller, features Deadpool’s distinct red and black motif, with a playful twist – a cheeky rendering of the character’s behind on the back.

The exclusive controller is not available for purchase and can only be won through a global sweepstakes announced on the official Twitter account of Xbox. Fans are required to follow specific contest rules, including reposting the sweepstakes post, to enter.

In addition to the elusive Cheeky Controller, other prizes, such as a custom Series X console, are up for grabs in the sweepstakes. Furthermore, the first 1,000 fans purchasing an Elite Controller Series 2 Core at selected Microsoft Stores will receive an exclusive Deadpool Controller Holder from EXG Pro, featuring foam replicas of Deadpool’s signature katanas, Bea and Arthur.

Deadpool and Wolverine, a buddy action comedy starring Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, aims to reinvigorate the Marvel Cinematic Universe and engage fans with an exciting storyline and memorable characters. The movie is set to premiere on July 26 and will feature appearances from other beloved Marvel figures.

As part of the movie’s promotion, Xbox will be attending the New York City premiere on July 22, covering the event live on its Twitch channel.
