Meghan Trainor Shocked Ben Shephard by Not Recognizing Brooklyn Beckham in Blind Date Revelation

Meghan Trainor left Ben Shephard in shock this Monday as she recalled how she was set up with her husband Daryl Sabara by former couple Brooklyn Beckham and Chloë Grace Moretz.

Shephard, alongside co-host Cat Deeley, welcomed the singer to the set of the award-winning daytime show.

During the conversation, Trainor revealed that she had no clue who Brooklyn Beckham was when he set her up with now-husband Daryl in July, 2016.

Despite Brooklyn’s international fame as the son of Victoria and David Beckham, Trainor confessed she didn’t recognize him during their blind date, leaving Shephard in disbelief.

Shephard’s astonishment was evident as Trainor casually mentioned that she put together the pieces after receiving a shirt from Victoria’s clothing line and being chased by paparazzi, realizing Beckham’s popularity.

The revelation, originating from a SoulCycle class encounter between Chloë Grace Moretz and Brooklyn Beckham back in 2014, led to the setup between Trainor and Sabara, resulting in a happily ever after love story.

Trainor and Sabara, who first met at a house party two years prior to the blind date, have been inseparable since their double bowling date orchestrated by Moretz and Beckham.

The couple tied the knot in 2018, welcomed their son Riley in 2021, and added another member, , to their family in 2023.

Trainor is on the set of This Morning to promote her sixth major-label studio album, ‘Timeless‘, while also reminiscing about the unexpected beginnings of her enduring romance with Sabara.
