AC Milan Eyes Ajax Midfielder Silvano Vos
Rumors are swirling around the football world as AC Milan reportedly has its sights set on Silvano Vos, a young midfielder from Ajax. The 19-year-old talent is considered a rising star, but he’s found himself on the outs with Ajax’s current coach, Francesco Farioli.
French club Stade Reims has also expressed interest in Vos, offering a loan deal that would keep him in France until the end of the 2024-25 season. Ajax is weighing their options, but it seems they would prefer a sale over a loan, which they think could benefit both parties as they aim to offload Vos’ salary.
Vos has a new contract with Ajax that allows him to earn up to €1 million through bonuses, making it crucial for the club to make a move before the summer transfer window closes. Despite Ajax announcing a previous asking price of €10 million, this figure may drop as the deadline approaches.
This talented midfielder, who stands at 189 centimeters tall and is right-footed, has played in 17 matches for Ajax’s first team and has a notable record with Jong Ajax, tallying six goals and four assists in 56 matches.
For now, AC Milan has only made inquiries into Vos’ situation, and it’s yet to be seen if they will make an official bid. The Rossoneri hope to see more progress on this front as they consider the 19-year-old for their squad.
