AC Milan is gearing up to host Genoa in a crucial Serie A clash at the iconic San Siro stadium. The Rossoneri are desperate for a win after a string of disappointing results in recent weeks.

The last time AC Milan tasted victory was on April 6th, and since then, they have faltered in five matches, including a draw against Juventus and a loss to cross-city rivals Inter Milan.

The Rossoneri currently sit in second place on the Serie A table with 70 points, looking to maintain their position ahead of Juventus and Bologna.

Theo Hernandez, Fikayo Tomori, and Davide Calabria are back from suspension, but Calabria will miss the game due to injury. Yunus Musah is suspended, while Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Mike Maignan, and Pierre Kalulu are unlikely to feature.

Olivier Giroud is expected to spearhead AC Milan’s attack, with Samu Chukwueze or Noah Okafor potentially filling in for Loftus-Cheek. Genoa’s Alan Matturro, Mattia Bani, Ruslan Malinovskyi, and Junior Messias are set to miss out on the action.

AC Milan have endured consecutive home losses and will be looking to avoid a third against Genoa. However, the Grifone have lost their last four clashes with the Rossoneri, failing to score in three of those encounters.

Christian Pulisic, a standout performer for AC Milan, will be a key figure in the match. The American midfielder has netted 10 Serie A goals this season, including the winner in the reverse fixture against Genoa back in October.

The clash at the San Siro promises to be an intense battle, with both teams aiming for crucial points to achieve their respective Serie A ambitions.
