Miranda Lambert, the renowned country music star, made a stunning appearance at the 58th Annual Country Music Association (CMA) Awards on Wednesday, November 20. The event, held at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee, saw Lambert accompanied by her husband Brendan McLoughlin, as the couple graced the red carpet together, lighting up the night with their presence.
Lambert, 41, dazzled in a floor-length black gown, while her husband, McLoughlin, 33, complemented her look in a stylish suit. Despite not being nominated this year, Lambert has been a significant figure at the CMA Awards throughout her illustrious career, having secured 14 awards, including seven for Female Vocalist of the Year.
Speaking with ‘Extra‘s’ Alecia Davis, Lambert shared insights into her personal life, revealing that they often enjoy casual «date night» vibes together. She commented on their unique way of spending time, saying, «We kind of live on a date… We try to!»
During the awards, Lambert paid tribute to George Strait, referred to as «the king» of country music, alongside Parker McCollum by performing «Troubadour.» Lambert expressed her excitement about the performance and her admiration for Strait, stating, «He’s just such a staple and has just been authentically himself his entire career. It’s such a career to look up to and try to emulate.»
Further enhancing her red carpet look, Lambert showcased vintage Native American jewelry from Morgane Stapleton‘s Tennessee Turquoise Company. Despite focusing more on her personal life in recent years, Lambert continues to shine in both her career and personal endeavors, striving to balance her professional achievements with her personal happiness. While speaking to Us Weekly, she highlighted the importance of communication and compromise in her relationship with McLoughlin, emphasizing that «love is hard some days, but the reward is so worth it.»
