Prime Minister Narendra Modi, accompanied by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, filed his nomination from the Varanasi Lok Sabha constituency. The nomination filing came after PM Modi offered prayers and performed the Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat in Varanasi.

During his visit, PM Modi interacted with supporters and thanked them for their unwavering support. He then took a cruise ride to the Namo Ghat before visiting the Kaal Bhairav Temple to seek blessings.

Senior leaders such as Amit Shah and JP Nadda joined PM Modi at the collectorate for the nomination filing. The BJP’s NDA partners were also present to show their support for the Prime Minister.

Varanasi is set to go to polls in the last phase of the Lok Sabha elections on June 1, making PM Modi’s nomination crucial for the region.
