During his visit to Bihar, PM Modi paid homage to the ancient ruins of Nalanda University, which earned the prestigious distinction of being recognized as a United Nations Heritage site in 2016. This symbolic gesture underlined the historical and archaeological importance of Nalanda.

Reflecting on the global outreach of Nalanda University, PM Modi celebrated the diverse student body hailing from over 20 countries. He emphasized the university’s role in fostering a sense of unity through education, encapsulating the ethos of ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’ – the world is one family.
