J.P. Morgan Payments Enhances Fan Retail Experience at Formula 1 Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix
South Florida Motorsports (SFM) and J.P. Morgan Payments are joining forces to elevate the retail experience for fans attending the Formula 1 Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix 2024.
In a strategic partnership expansion, J.P. Morgan Payments is providing omnichannel payment solutions to SFM, enabling seamless retail operations both physically at the Miami International Autodrome and virtually online.
The 2023 Miami Formula 1 race was revolutionary by being the pioneer in using biometric payments, with a successful pilot where 100% of transactions were quickly and flawlessly authenticated. Building on this success, SFM is broadening the biometric payments’ use at the 2024 race to enhance the checkout process at merchandise shops on the Miami Campus.
This collaboration underscores the mutual aim of SFM and J.P. Morgan Payments to redefine retail experiences and bring quick, secure checkout experiences to Formula 1 fans, with biometric payments processing transactions in under a second.
Aside from the innovative biometric payment experience, J.P. Morgan Payments will also power an eCommerce retail store for Formula 1 Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix merchandise, extending the reach of event merchandise to a larger audience of Miami F1 fans.
Tyler Epp, the President of Formula 1 Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix, expressed excitement about the partnership, highlighting the groundbreaking technology and fan-oriented initiatives showcased at the event. Takis Georgakopoulos, Global Head of J.P. Morgan Payments, emphasized the aim to deliver a modern, unified payment system that can enhance business growth and reshape the retail experience.
