Motorola has officially launched its latest budget-friendly smartphone, the Moto G45 5G, in India. This new device aims to compete in the entry-level smartphone segment, featuring support for Dolby Atmos and a robust camera system.

The Moto G45 5G is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 chipset and is equipped with a dual rear camera setup that includes a 50MP primary lens paired with a 2MP macro lens. It also boasts a 5,000 mAh battery designed to provide extended usage.

In terms of pricing, the Moto G45 5G is available in two storage options. The 4GB RAM variant with 128GB of internal storage is priced at Rs 10,999, while the 8GB RAM model, which also offers 128GB of internal storage, is priced at Rs 12,999. Customers can choose from three color variants: Brilliant Blue, Viva Magneta, and Brilliant Green.

The device will go on sale starting August 28 at 12 PM through Flipkart and Motorola’s official India website. As part of the launch promotion, buyers using Axis and IDFC Bank credit cards will receive an instant discount of Rs 1,000. This offer will remain valid until September 10, along with additional benefits worth up to Rs 5,000.

The Moto G45 5G features a 6.5-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels, a refresh rate of 120Hz, and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for enhanced protection. It operates on Android 14 out of the box and has been confirmed to receive an update to Android 15, along with three years of security updates.

For connectivity options, the device supports 5G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS. It also includes a USB Type-C port for charging and offers security features such as a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and face unlock. The Moto G45 5G is rated IP52 for water and dust resistance and comes with stereo speakers for a better audio experience.
