Mountain Lake Lodge to Host Inaugural Dirty Dancing Summer Festival

Mountain Lake Lodge, located in Giles County, is set to debut the first-ever Dirty Dancing Days Summer Festival on August 16 and 17. The festival is open to the public, offering a nostalgic experience for fans of the iconic movie ‘Dirty Dancing’ filmed at the lodge.

The two-day event will feature live performances by popular bands such as Cassette Rewind, Marcel Portilla Band, FlashBack, The Party Band, and Riverside. Attendees can look forward to various activities including scavenger hunts, dance lessons in Maryu2019s Barn, watermelon races, 80u2019s dress-up dance competitions, and even a Dirty Dancing trivia contest.

The festival will take place at different locations within the lodge, where some of the most memorable scenes from the movie were filmed. These locations include Stone Lodge with its great stone hearth, Harvest Restaurant and Patio, Gazebo, and the nostalgic Babyu2019s Cabin, the fictional Houseman family home.

Tickets for the Dirty Dancing Summer Festival are priced at $75 for both days and can be purchased online.
