Mpox Outbreak Continues in KwaZulu-Natal – Third Death Reported

Another tragic development has been reported in the ongoing Mpox outbreak in KwaZulu-Natal, with a third individual succumbing to the illness since it first emerged in May. The Department of Health confirmed that a 40-year-old man from Ladysmith, who exhibited symptoms resembling those of Mpox, including a distinctive rash, passed away at his residence. Department spokesperson, Foster Mohale, revealed that the man did not seek medical attention at a hospital for his condition.
