MultiChoice announces comprehensive coverage of 2024/25 European Football Season on SuperSport Channels

Africa’s foremost entertainment company, MultiChoice, has revealed its plans for extensive coverage of the upcoming 2024/25 European football season across the SuperSport channels available on DStv and GOtv.

The 2024/25 Premier League season is set to commence on August 10 with the Community Shield showdown between Manchester City and Manchester United at Wembley, to be broadcast live on SuperSport Football (DStv ch 203 and GOtv ch 66) at 3pm.

Tope Oshunkeye, the Executive Head of Marketing for MultiChoice West Africa, emphasized the commitment to providing Nigerian football fans with live coverage of all the action from the biggest stadiums in Europe throughout the season.

The Champions League group stage matches are scheduled to begin on September 17-19, with the final slated for Munich‘s Fuball Arena on May 31, 2025, promising more matches for the prominent clubs.

The Premier League title race will kick off on August 16, with notable fixtures including Manchester United versus Fulham and Chelsea against Manchester City at Stamford Bridge.

La Liga action will start on August 15 with a clash between Atletico Bilbao and Getafe, while Sunday will see Barcelona taking on Valencia in a highly anticipated match-up.

Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid will face off in the first Madrid derby in week eight, and the iconic El Classico between Real Madrid and Barcelona is scheduled for the weekend of October 27 at the Santiago Bernabeu.
