Navya Naveli Nanda Enrolls in IIM-Ahmedabad for MBA
Navya Naveli Nanda, the granddaughter of esteemed actor Amitabh Bachchan and veteran actress Jaya Bachchan, has officially enrolled in an MBA programme at the prestigious Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIM-A).
This enrollment marks a significant step for Navya, who is the daughter of Shweta Bachchan Nanda and industrialist Nikhil Nanda, as she seeks to carve out her own unique identity outside the realm of Bollywood.
She is set to participate in the Blended Post Graduate Programme (BPGP) for the Class of 2026. Sharing her excitement, Navya posted on Instagram, stating: «Dreams do come true!!!!! The next 2 years… with the best people and faculty! Blended Post Graduate Programme (BPGP) of 2026 (sic).»
In her social media posts, Navya was seen dressed in a smart black suit beside the IIM-A sign, celebrating her achievement with friends and sharing a cake-cutting moment.
In a display of gratitude, Navya also took the opportunity to thank her teacher, Prasad sir, who provided her with guidance in preparing for the CAT/IAT entrance exams.
The Blended Post Graduate Programme (BPGP) for Class of 2026 is designed as a hybrid course comprising both online and on-campus sessions. The program is aimed at individuals who possess a minimum of three years of experience, facilitating a balance between work commitments and academic engagement.
Navya’s mother, Shweta Bachchan, expressed immense pride in her daughter’s achievement, while several notable figures, including Suhana Khan, Ananya Panday, Shanaya Kapoor, Zoya Akhtar, Karishma Kapoor, and Sonali Bendre, extended their congratulations.
Prior to this venture in education, Navya was recognized for her contributions as a podcast host for ‘What The Hell Navya’, where she engaged in discussions revolving around feminism and the role of women in contemporary society, accompanied by her mother and grandmother.
