Nba Youngboy Court Hearing

Kentrell Gaulden, better known as NBA YoungBoy, is making headlines again as he has agreed to move his federal gun case from Louisiana to Utah. The rapper, who’s been dealing with legal troubles for some time, is set to plead guilty to a charge of possessing a firearm as a convicted felon.

This decision comes after years of grappling with gun charges linked to a music video shoot back in September 2020 in Baton Rouge. Police reported that over a dozen firearms were seized on-site, leading to Gaulden’s indictment.

Now, at just 25 years old, Gaulden is preparing to face the music in a federal court located in Salt Lake City, Utah. He consented to this move and signed documents indicating his intent to plead guilty once the case officially transfers to Utah.

This shift also connects to his recent arrest in April, where Gaulden was implicated in a fraudulent prescription operation. He has been held without bond at the Weber County Jail since May 10, awaiting trial for these new charges.

Interestingly, Gaulden was previously under house arrest at a compound in Salt Lake City while waiting for his federal trial in Baton Rouge to start. However, that trial has now been set to be shifted, as he has agreed to these new arrangements.

<pThe gun charges against him are tied back to a music video where a reliable source indicated that members of the NBA and local gangs were seen with various weapons. Reports suggested that Gaulden owned a Glock and a 9mm handgun found during the police intervention.
