NEET PG 2024 Exam Dates to be Announced Soon: Education Minister Pradhan Confirms Revised Schedule
The Union Education Minister, Dharmendra Pradhan, has confirmed that the National Board of Examinations (NBE) will be announcing a revised schedule for the NEET-PG 2024 examination within the next two days.
During an extended state executive meeting of the Haryana BJP in Panchkula, Pradhan informed reporters about the upcoming announcement.
Following recent controversy and allegations of irregularities in competitive exams, the NEET-PG, along with other exams, was cancelled which has caused anxiety among students.
Pradhan also mentioned that the government is concerned about the students’ anxiety and is committed to addressing the situation in the best possible manner.
Additionally, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has recently rescheduled three exams that were cancelled due to suspected exam integrity issues.
The UGC-NET, which was initially scheduled for June 18 but was cancelled after reports of leaked exam papers on the darknet and circulation via Telegram, will now take place from August 21 to September 4.
Furthermore, the CSIR UGC-NET, pivotal for admissions to various PhD programs in sciences, has been rescheduled for July 25-27.
The National Common Entrance Test (NCET) has also been rescheduled to July 10, after being postponed just before its June 12 commencement.
Amidst these controversies, a panel has been constituted by the Centre to oversee and ensure transparent and smooth examination processes through the National Testing Agency (NTA).
