NEET PG 2024 Results Announced by NBEMS

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has officially declared the results for the NEET PG 2024 examination. Students who participated in the exam can check their results by visiting the official website at natboard.edu.in.

The results were released following a thorough evaluation of the exam answers submitted by candidates. The individual scorecards for candidates will be made available on 30th August 2024 via the NBE website at nbe.edu.in.

NBEMS confirmed that all questions were examined by subject experts to ensure accuracy, and no technically incorrect questions were identified during the review process. Furthermore, a separate merit list will be prepared for the 50 percent All India quota seats.

The final merit list for state quota seats will be compiled by the respective states and Union Territories, based on their qualification criteria, guidelines, and reservation policies.

The NEET PG 2024 examination took place on August 11 across 185 cities and was conducted in two shifts, with approximately 238,000 candidates registered for the assessment.

This examination is conducted for admissions to various postgraduate medical courses including Doctor of Medicine (MD), Master of Surgery (MS), postgraduate diplomas, and DNB CET seats.

Candidates were informed about the prescribed cutoff for the NEET PG examination, which is 50th percentile for general and EWS categories, and 40th percentile for SC, ST, and OBC categories.

The previous year’s cutoff scores for MD/MS/DNB/Diploma programs were 291 for general candidates, 274 for general-PWD candidates, and 257 for SC/ST/OBC candidates including PWD.
