The Education Ministry has announced that the final revised results for the NEET-UG 2024 exam are not yet available. An official spokesperson from the Ministry asked students and parents to wait for official information regarding the results.

Some confusion arose when an old link on the National Testing Agency (NTA) website was shared, leading many to mistakenly believe it was for the new scorecards. The NTA had recently conducted a retest for 1,563 candidates, which necessitated a revision of the scorecards.

This marks the third revision of the scores after IIT Delhi recommended deducting five marks from students who answered a specific Physics question incorrectly. This change is significant as it will alter the ranks of all 23 lakh candidates, including those who previously achieved full marks.

However, it’s essential to clarify that the link available on the NTA website is not for the newly revised scorecards. Instead, it was an older link that was reactivated after the retrial results were published, prompting all candidates to download their mark sheets once again.

On Tuesday, Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan mentioned that the revised NEET-UG scores would be shared within two days. In a response to Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge‘s criticisms regarding a paper leak, Pradhan highlighted past instances of multiple paper leaks since the Congress party took power in Rajasthan. He underlined the government’s commitment to ensuring a zero-error and tamper-proof examination process, which has led to the postponement of several exams.
