New Developments Emerge in Liam Payne’s Tragic Death
A photograph has recently surfaced depicting the late British pop star Liam Payne being carried through the lobby of the CasaSur Palermo Hotel in Buenos Aires by three individuals, just minutes before his tragic fall from a third-floor balcony. The image, taken from CCTV footage dated October 16, has been released by the Daily Mail and adds new details to the circumstances surrounding Payne’s untimely death.
The footage captures the visibly unwell singer being transported by hotel staff to his suite, despite appearing to be in a state of distress, described by one witness as «convulsing.» This raises questions about the hotel’s decision not to immediately call emergency services while he was still in the lobby.
An autopsy later revealed that Payne suffered ‘multiple traumas’ following his fall, and a toxicology report identified the presence of alcohol, cocaine, and an antidepressant in his system. The timeline, however, remains confusing due to discrepancies in the CCTV timestamps, with movements allegedly recorded before Payne even reached the lobby.
The hotel defended its actions, indicating through a 911 call by chief receptionist Esteban Grassi that they feared for Payne’s safety due to the presence of a balcony in his room. This has not alleviated criticism regarding their decision to return him to his room unattended under such circumstances.
Moreover, Brian Nahuel Paiz and Ezequiel David Pereyra have been identified by Argentine authorities as individuals of interest concerning drug dealings related to Payne’s case. Their social media actions following Payne’s death have added to the intrigue. Roger Nores, Payne’s companion earlier that day, has faced allegations of abandonment, but he vehemently denies these claims.
Complicating the narrative is Payne’s history of evading notice by escaping via non-conventional routes, such as balconies or external ledges, a risk he reportedly took as recently as September in Florida to acquire drugs without his bodyguard’s notice.
This latest visual evidence leaves open multiple interpretations, particularly around Payne’s actions and state of mind during those final moments. The incident has sparked a broader debate on accountability and the responsibilities of third parties in such tragic events.
