New South Wales Blues Announce Squad Changes for State of Origin Game Two

Westpac NSW Blues coach Michael Maguire has made significant changes to the team roster for Game Two of the Ampol State of Origin Series, set to take place at the iconic MCG in Melbourne. The changes include the return of seasoned player Latrell Mitchell and introductions of Mitchell Moses, Cameron Murray, Dylan Edwards, and Connor Watson to the squad.

The 20-player squad also features Mitch Barnett as the 18th player, while Cameron McInnes and Luke Keary are named as emergencies. The team announcement comes on the occasion of Latrell Mitchell’s 27th birthday, adding a personal touch to the selection decisions.

Maguire, the head coach, will address the media at the NSWRL Centre of Excellence in Sydney before the team enters a training camp at the Fairmont Resort Blue Mountains in Leura. The Blue Mountains camp will precede the team’s travel to Melbourne a week prior to the pivotal game against Queensland.

The revamped Westpac NSW Blues squad includes the likes of Brian To'o, Stephen Crichton, Zac Lomax, Jarome Luai, Jake Trbojevic, Reece Robson, Payne Haas, Liam Martin, Angus Crichton, Isaah Yeo, Haumole Olakau'atu, and Spencer Leniu, all eager to make a mark during the upcoming game at the MCG.
