New Stockpile Monitoring Boosts Efficiency
Keeping track of material stockpiles just got a lot easier for wheel loader operators, thanks to a new feature added to SPECTIVE CONNECT by Kleemann. This stockpile monitoring function offers a real-time look at the current status of materials, which helps workers stay on top of their game.
With this updated tool, operators can set notifications for when stockpiles reach a certain height—like 90 percent full. This means they’ll be alerted to when it’s time to clear the pile without having to keep a constant eye on it themselves.
This is particularly useful in larger work areas where not all piles are easily visible. Operators are often multi-tasking, handling various jobs at the same time. SPECTIVE CONNECT helps them focus and manage their tasks more efficiently by sending push notifications right at the moment they need to visit a full stockpile.
The new feature aims to minimize unnecessary trips and potential downtime that can happen when a stockpile is full. With all data being recorded, the system even builds an algorithm that estimates how much time is left until a stockpile reaches its limit.
Overall, the stockpile monitoring feature is a big step forward for productivity on the work site, allowing processes to be optimized and ensuring that operations run smoothly.
