Nfl Week 12 Injury Report

The NFL regular season nears its two-thirds mark as teams enter Week 12. With playoff races heating up, injury reports have become increasingly significant for all 32 teams in the league.

This week’s injury updates feature several notable absences. Among them, Carolina Panthers kicker Joey Slye, celebrated for his record as the league’s most accurate kicker, is active after nursing a knee issue. Meanwhile, Panthers running back Miles Sanders has been placed on injured reserve, adding to the team’s injury woes.

The Kansas City Chiefs will miss running back Isiah Pacheco for another week, despite prior expectations of his return. This decision was made to accommodate for a short week ahead, as the Chiefs are scheduled to face the Las Vegas Raiders on Black Friday.

The Minnesota Vikings have seen improvements in their injury list. Quarterback Kirk Cousins, who was listed with a foot injury, participated fully in team practice and is set to play. Similarly, running back Dalvin Cook, recovering from a rib injury, was a full participant throughout the week.

In Chicago, running back D'Andre Swift is questionable with a groin injury, having been limited during practice sessions. The Bears continue to face challenges managing their roster amidst these injuries.

The Tennessee Titans will be without cornerback Kristian Fulton and running back Derrick Henry, both sidelined for Sunday’s matchup. On the Texans‘ side, pass rusher J.J. Watt is recovering from an ankle injury and was able to fully participate in practice by week’s end.

The Indianapolis Colts face some setbacks with tackle Anthony Castonzo listed out due to a knee issue. Defensive end Tyquan Lewis is questionable but was a full participant in recent practices.

In New York, the Giants’ wide receiver Malik Nabers is dealing with a groin injury and is questionable for the upcoming game. Conversely, Dallas Cowboys cornerback Trevon Diggs and offensive lineman Zack Martin will not travel with the team and are confirmed out.

The San Francisco 49ers will start veteran quarterback Andy Dalton as Brock Purdy is out with a shoulder injury. This marks a significant shift, as Dalton hasn’t been a regular starter since his time with the Cincinnati Bengals.

Philadelphia Eagles edge rusher Josh Sweat is not expected to play due to a wrist injury. This absence opens up opportunities for other members of the Eagles’ defensive lineup.
