The RJD has asserted that Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Telugu Desam Party president Chandrababu Naidu are being swayed away from the BJP-led NDA towards the opposition INDIA bloc due to a shared disdain for vendetta politics.

RJD’s national spokesperson, Manoj Kumar Jha, pointed out Nitish Kumar’s past predictions and his groundwork for the INDIA bloc, indicating a potential shift in alliance.

Jha expressed hope that Kumar and Naidu, known for their aversion to vendetta politics, might play significant roles in a transition at the Centre, as Narendra Modi’s regime seems to be waning.

The JD(U) has showcased surprising results in the Lok Sabha polls, leading in 14 out of 16 contested seats, surpassing the BJP in numbers.

During the ongoing Bihar Lok Sabha counting, where the INDIA bloc has a mellow start, with RJD trailing in most seats, Jha remains optimistic about the coalition’s fortunes in the state.

Jha highlighted the sluggish counting pace and urged the Election Commission to proceed meticulously, underlying their concerns about external influences on results.

Among the contesting parties within the INDIA bloc in Bihar, RJD, Congress, and CPI(ML) Liberation show varied leads and trails in the election outcome.
