North Carolina State Secures Final Spot in 2024 College World Series

North Carolina State University’s baseball team clinched the last spot in the 2024 College World Series after a thrilling victory over the University of Georgia on Monday in the deciding game of the Athens Super Regional.

The No. 10 Wolfpack managed to secure their spot in the prestigious tournament with a hard-fought 8-5 win over the No. 7 Bulldogs at Georgia’s home field.

With this win, the College World Series field is now complete, featuring a balanced representation from the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) and the Southeastern Conference (SEC).

NC State will join fellow ACC teams Florida State, Virginia, and North Carolina in Omaha, while the SEC will be represented by Florida, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Texas A&M.
