Northampton Saints Triumph in Gallagher Premiership Final, Parade Scheduled in Northampton

Northampton Saints have secured a historic victory in the Gallagher Premiership Final, claiming the title for the first time in a decade. Their exhilarating 25-21 win over Bath at Twickenham marks a significant achievement for the men in Black, Green, and Gold.

The triumphant squad will be celebrating their success with fans in Northampton tomorrow through an open-top bus parade. The parade will commence at 2pm from Franklin's Gardens and culminate at the Guildhall in St Giles Square around 2.30pm.

The route of the victory parade will navigate through several streets including Weedon Road, St James Road, Mare Fair, Gold Street, Mercers Row, and Wood Hill. Supporters are encouraged to line up along the route, dressed in the team’s iconic Black, Green, and Gold colors, to cheer on the champions.

Upon reaching the Guildhall, Northampton Saints will be greeted by dignitaries from West Northamptonshire Council, including Cllr Adam Brown, Cllr Jo Gilford, and Cllr Paul Joyce, the Mayor of Northampton. A stage will be set up outside the Guildhall for player interviews, musical performances, and other exciting activities, hosted by the spirited stadium announcer, Pete Nuttall.

Following the festivities, players will have the opportunity to interact with supporters, display the Premiership trophy, and participate in photo sessions before departing around 3.30pm. The event is open to all and entry to the supporter area in front of the Guildhall will begin at 1pm. Security measures including bag searches may be enforced.
