The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has officially opened the registration portal for prospective corps members of the 2024 Batch ‘B’ Stream 1. This announcement was made via the NYSC’s official social media channels on Saturday, June 8, 2024.

In a recent post by the NYSC, it was disclosed that the registration process has commenced on their website as of 10 am. The registration window is set to run from June 8, 2024, to June 10, 2024.

For individuals looking to register, the NYSC’s registration portal can be accessed at https://www.nysc.org.ng. Prospective corps members are advised to click on the active link to kickstart the registration process.

First-time registrants should use the ‘Fresh Registration’ link, while those who were previously deployed but didn’t report to camp can opt for the ‘Revalidation’ link. For individuals with incomplete registrations from past batches, the ‘Login Here’ option can be utilized to continue the process with existing credentials.

It is crucial to avoid thumbprinting by proxy during the registration process. The NYSC specifies the use of the Digital Persona U.are.U 4500 fingerprint reader for accurate thumbprints.

Applicants must upload a clear passport photograph adhering to proper dressing guidelines. It is essential to note that the uploaded photograph will reflect on the Certificate of National Service and Exemption Certificate. Avoid uploading pictures with NYSC crested vests.

Furthermore, applicants have the opportunity to apply for name corrections, spelling errors, and rearrangements as needed. Details such as date of birth, graduation date, and course of study are critical and cannot be modified post-camp registration.

The registration portal also extends its services to foreign-trained graduates and part-time graduates. Additionally, prospective corps members serving in the armed forces are urged to indicate their status during the online registration process.

Before final submission, all applicants are advised to preview their records entered to avoid any errors. Notably, National Identification Number (NIN) is now a mandatory requirement for all 2024 mobilization registrations.

The NYSC’s commencement of registration for the 2024 Batch ‘B’ Stream 1 heralds a significant step for prospective corps members in Osun State and Nigeria at large.
