A 25-year-old OnlyFans creator, Victoria Thomas-Bowen, was arrested by Essex Police after throwing a banana milkshake at Reform UK leader Nigel Farage in Clacton, Essex. Thomas-Bowen, who describes herself as a video creator on Instagram and also promotes her OnlyFans account, caused a stir with her actions against Farage.

Following the incident, Nigel Farage expressed feeling unsettled by the milkshake attack, labeling it as ‘quite frightening’. Police confirmed Thomas-Bowen’s arrest on suspicion of assault outside a local pub in her hometown of Clacton. Meanwhile, her brother Paul distanced himself from her actions, stating he was appalled and wanted no association with her.

In a statement to the press, Victoria Thomas-Bowen justified her actions, explaining that Farage did not align with her beliefs or those of the community in Clacton. She had previously shown support for Jeremy Corbyn on Facebook and raised questions about the UK’s treatment of Syrian refugees.

Responding to the incident, Labour‘s Yvette Cooper and Clacton Conservative candidate Giles Watling condemned the attack, emphasizing the importance of respecting election campaigns without resorting to violence or intimidation. Farage’s rival in Clacton, Giles Watling, stressed the right of every candidate to campaign freely.

Former Reform UK leader Richard Tice, who was present during the incident, brushed off the attack as counterproductive, suggesting that it would only strengthen support for the party. Farage, who had experienced a similar milkshake incident in Newcastle in 2019, humorously referenced the incident by buying McDonald's milkshakes in Jaywick, Essex.

Aiming to inject life into the House of Commons if elected, Farage vowed to shake up the political scenery, criticizing the Tories and emphasizing Reform UK’s potential as an opposition voice. Essex Police confirmed the arrest of Thomas-Bowen on suspicion of assault, along with another individual apprehended for assaulting an emergency worker.
