Anant Ambani, the groom, manages the renewable energy expansion of the conglomerate and also runs a sprawling animal rescue center in Gujarat state.

The opulent pre-wedding celebrations organized by the Ambani family have generated both admiration and criticism, as the extravagance highlights the growing wealth gap in India.
