Packers Secure Dominant Victory Over Ravens in Preseason Finale
The Green Bay Packers delivered a commanding performance against the Baltimore Ravens, winning 30-7 in their preseason finale at Lambeau Field on a bright Saturday afternoon.
The Packers showcased their strength by outgaining the Ravens significantly, amassing 326 yards compared to the Ravens’ 177 yards. The most notable contributions on the ground came from E Merryweather and N McCrary, who rushed for 74 and 64 yards, respectively, while Em. Wilson added 52 yards to the team’s total.
Quarterback Sean Clifford completed 6 of 14 passes for 53 yards, while Michael Pratt had a more efficient outing, going 8 of 12 for 80 yards, including one touchdown pass, although he also faced an interception.
Receiver M Heath emerged as a key target, catching four passes for 39 yards. The competition for the field goal kicking position intensified, as Greg Joseph successfully made field goals from 36 and 55 yards, while the incumbent kicker, Anders Carlson, connected on a 54-yard attempt.
The game’s scoring began with a field goal, and the Packers led 3-0 after the first quarter. By halftime, they had extended their lead to 20-7 and ultimately finished with a score of 30-7 after three quarters.
As the Packers prepare for final roster cuts due by 3 p.m. Central Time on Tuesday, they will also begin their preparations for the regular season opener in Brazil against the Philadelphia Eagles on September 8.
