Paddy Pimblett, the UFC fighter gearing up to face Bobby «King» Green at UFC 304 in Manchester this weekend, recently had to deal with a bizarre fan question about his friend and training partner, Molly McCann.

Pimblett, who considers McCann, affectionately known as «Meatball,» as a close friend and often refers to her as his «big sister,» found himself in a surprising situation when a fan asked if they had ever been intimate. The question left him stunned and prompted a strong response.

He quickly reminded the fan, saying, «You do know Molly’s a lesbian, lad.» After the fan apologized, Pimblett added, «Molly’s a lesbian and she’s got a fiancée and I’m married.» This exchange took place just before the UFC London event in 2023, where McCann was ultimately defeated by Julija Stoliarenko, marking her second consecutive loss.

Despite that setback, McCann bounced back with a win against Diana Belbita earlier this year. Meanwhile, Pimblett tied the knot with his long-time partner, Laura Gregory, last year, with McCann being present for their wedding.

Now, as Pimblett prepares for his fight against Green, who has been stirring the pot leading up to the event, the atmosphere is heating up. Green recently changed his first name legally to «King» and hasn’t held back in his criticism, calling Pimblett a «stupid kid» who needs to «shut the f*** up.»

While Green acknowledges Pimblett’s skills in the octagon, he doesn’t seem to appreciate the Liverpudlian’s lively personality and playful antics, including his signature dance moves. Fans are eagerly awaiting the showdown between these two fighters, especially since Pimblett has recently showcased an impressive body transformation ahead of the weigh-in.
